Nonhlakanipho Nhlapo is a self-taught chef with a deep connection to her community. When she launched Hilltop Pub & Butchery, her goal was to provide high-quality food in an area with limited options and to create meaningful opportunities for the people around her.
While the pub quickly found its footing, the butchery (an essential part of her vision) remained closed. The missing piece was equipment, and the funding to buy it.
