Borrowers who wish to repay their loan in full before the end of the loan term may do so without any penalties.
If early repayment is made, any interest or fees for the unused portion of the loan term will be adjusted accordingly, and excess payments will be refunded to the borrower.
2. Non-Refundable Fees
Application Fees: Fees paid for loan application processing are non-refundable, regardless of loan approval or disbursement status.
Appraisal Fees: Any fees paid for asset valuation or appraisal are non-refundable once the service has been rendered.
Loan Setup or Origination Fees: Fees incurred for the setup or origination of the loan are non-refundable after the loan agreement is executed.
Late Payment Fees: Fees charged due to late payments are non-refundable and are due as stipulated in the loan agreement.
3. Service Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute regarding the services provided, such as errors in loan calculation, interest rates, or other financial discrepancies, borrowers must notify Mutualism in writing within 30 days of becoming aware of the issue.
Mutualism will investigate the claim, and if an error is found, necessary adjustments will be made, which may include fee refunds or adjustments to the loan balance.
4. Collateral Seizure & No Refunds on Default
In the event of loan default leading to the seizure of the collateral, borrowers are not eligible for any refunds on payments made toward the loan prior to default.
Once collateral has been seized to recover the loan amount, Mutualism will not issue refunds for any service or interest payments made before the default occurred.
5. Overpayment Refunds
If an overpayment occurs (for example, due to automated payments), the borrower is entitled to a refund of the excess amount. Refunds will be processed within 14 business days of the overpayment being confirmed.
6. Amendments to Loan Terms
If there are any amendments to the loan agreement that result in an overcharge or error in fees, any overpayments will be adjusted and refunded where applicable.
Changes to loan terms or refinancing will not entitle the borrower to a refund of previously paid interest or fees.
7. Cancellation of Loan Agreement Before Disbursement
If the borrower decides to cancel the loan before the funds are disbursed, Mutualism will refund any amounts paid toward the loan, excluding non-refundable fees such as application or appraisal fees.
Once the loan funds have been disbursed, cancellations are not possible, and the borrower must adhere to the loan repayment terms.
